#shutitdown

WHAT:     Mass Protest at the Office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District to demand justice for Michael Brown, justice for Eric Garner, and immediate federal action against racist policing in the U.S. -- including arresting police perpetrators for civil rights violations, pursuing pattern-and-practice lawsuits, and dissolving local out-of-control police departments.

WHY:       Black lives matter.  What happened in Ferguson is not the exception but the rule in a system based on white supremacy.  Black Americans need federal protection from local law enforcement “sworn to serve and protect.”

WHEN:    5:00 PM TUESDAY, DECEMBER 2

WHERE:   the Office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District
