Just as the snow really started coming down, I joined a few friends from the Public Space Party, my affinity group for a ride up to the lions at the NYPL on 41st and 5th Ave. The flurries poured through the city streets as I rode from Brooklyn up to 42nd street, for the outreach event and ride. Worried that not enough people were talking about the TPP, we hoped to engage people in one on one conversations about this devastating piece of trade policy. The targets in NY are complicated. So we took it to Times Square, the NY Times, and the library, talking and dancing and engaging audiences, asking everyone we knew to break up this partnership. "Break up with the TPP!" we implored everyone in the snow.
